Book Review: The Psychology of Problem Solving
Review of the book The Psychology of problem solving
The book covers a brief history of the most important topics on problem solving psychology within an impressive short number of pages.
Lots of examples that help explain the different theories exposed across the book plus some prescriptions of psychological hacks that guide the reader in his/her path to be an expert problem solver.
The presented problem solving heuristics and the many example problems and puzzles used to describe its power alone are worth the book's weight in gold.
Helped me understand a lot of the difficulties I have and still face while trying to solve the problems life is throwing at me everyday - both the emotional and cognitive tricks described in the book are a serious reason for me to vividly recommend the book.
