FTR: Determining your BMR isn't an exact science afaik. You can also use the "Mifflin-St Jeor" formula or some kind of technological solution (smart weighing scales for example).
Do you also use software to track your nutrition? Like MyFitnessPal for example? Can be valuable for tracking ketogenic diet.
Thanks for the comment. I did count calories in the past using MyFitnessPal since I was in a calories restriction diet.
With keto I'm limiting carbs intake and eat until I feel satiated.
I feel the glucose and insulin spikes that I used to have on a high carb diet made me feel hungry all the time.
It's ok that the BMR is just a rough estimate - I just have to compare weight (calories) lost and make sure it is well under the adjusted BMR to be confident I'm going to continue to lose weight.
